Breather

Two days ago we got an invite from our colleagues in a city nearby and we stayed over their apartment for two nights and two days. We spent the holidays with them and we really enjoyed each other’s company. On the first day, Anelie cooked “bihon” for the four of us and the other two guys liked it. Alex is a Ukrainian teacher who is really good at playing piano. Her interest in China and the people turned her piano career into an English Teacher which she really enjoys. Wvyjren is a nice guy from Holland. He worked with Yahoo before he came here in China to teach English. Well, so much for the introduction. The first night, we just spent it talking about love life and life in general,,,I learned so many things as I am the youngest in the group,,,heheh proud to say so. Guess what time we slept? Three o’clock in the morning the next day,,, good! which made us wake up almost lunch time that day. After nibbling some snacks we decided to go bowling and we really enjoyed our time. While the only rose among the thorns excused to have lunch, the rest of the gang tried some rounds of table tennis. We strolled around the busy streets of Wenzhou City and met some interesting people. They are so warmhearted and they always say “HI” to us especially to Alex and Wvyjren. These two guys look more foreign than us for we are more Chinese looking. Also, we went to a nearby park and took some more pictures of the pagoda. We felt a sudden hunger pangs as we went down the steps so we decided to go to a nearby foodshoppe and had a meal. Twas tasty and I like it particularly the chao fan which I ordered. Whew! So, the day is over yet we were not yet tired nor finished with our itenerary for the day. We went to the nearest and most comfortable mall in the city – Trust Mart and bought some food again and some gurl stuffs. Finally, we went home and rested almost half past eleven in the evening. The next day, we woke up early and took a warm bath and strided past the nearest massage center and had a comfy and rejuvenating massage for only 50 kwai. We went home and rested for a couple of minutes and we decided to go back to our place – a city nearby as well. Indeed the days are short and time is fleeting as if the holidays aren’t over yet as I am typing words here the minutes are ticking fast. Tomorrow is the last day of our holidays but there were so many things that happened during our short break. I won’t forget those two days of fun and enjoyment with the two lovely and nice colleagues.
